i love Marly's language and story-telling skills. Utterly enchanting, captivating from the first paragraph.
Beautiful.
The rich imagery carried me on...but then i was sad to discover the premise: a broken woman is ultimately rescued by another man. i almost stopped reading once i realized this is where she was taking us...but the wonderful language and imagery kept me engaged, in spite of my disappointment.
