Best New Fantasy is a compilation of the best stories of the year written by newly-established authors from 2005. There was a volume put out in 2006, and then there'll be a second in two months. Then we'll probably put it to rest, so it doesn't confuse consumers with Horton's or VanderMeer's year's bests.

Ok, there's a Fantasy anthology, but I also saw on the web there is a Best New Fantasy anthology, speaking of strange and rare beasts, because I hadn't noticed anyone ever mention this?
