		<description>This was such an interesting, twisty story.  I was never sure where it was going, and I like that.  There was some absolutely fantastic lines: &quot;Ever since her husband learned how to bleach his teeth, how to tousle his hair with pomade, and how to love the woman that would be her daughters’ stepmother, Ronia had her children on Wednesdays through Saturdays, and her husband had them on Sundays through Tuesdays.&quot; is a favorite of mine, as are the scenes with the old woman (and I love how you describe the folds of her skin!).  I love the idea of each person rewriting the story, each of them trying to subvert a fairy tale.</description>
