Excellent review - no more than this film deserved. BTW, why does the chief have a German flag painted on his arm?

I thought the review was really funny and made the movie seem better than it was. And the actress I believe is Dichen Lachman

Those exquisite nose-job nostrils on Princessa don't cut her much slack in case of a cold. Okay, no cold in Mexico, but what if she has an allergy attack or or something?

I agree with everything you've said! When I saw the Trailer for this movie, I refused to believe it. When I watched the movie, I still didn't believe it! It was the best comedy I've seen lately. (Dare I hope it was intentionally a farce?) Besides all the bad acting, bad costumes--when will writers ever learn not to use modern day slang in historical/period pieces?

Although not featured in this review, the altarpiece had a very classy symbol of a T. Rex, all covered in glitter-glue.

By the way, excellent play-by-play!

Just noticed this today: Ian Zering's armor is possibly the worst effort of costumery since the toga party scene in Animal House, though Cortez's armor was not intentionally bad, I'm sure.

Note to costumer: Please spray paint silver on only the parts that are supposed to be steel. Leather straps are not steel. They should not be grey, silver or any variation of both. Stick with brown for leather, dipshit.

This was *hilarious.* The Sci-Fi channel may insist on continuing to foist its horrifically bad original movies on us, but we can all take comfort in the fact that Madame Valentine, like a caped avenger, stands ready to skewer them on behalf of all decent and right-thinking lovers of the genre. Keep up the good work, Fantasy Magazine!
