The opening caught me so I read on. The concept that giants and angels are made is different but perhaps becoming more possible with the prosthesis technology now available. The story asks the big question, i.e. what is the meaning of life? and it captures the struggle to find individual meaning within the characters beautifully. There is also an answer there too.
