		<description>This was a great article that really captured all that&#039;s promising and offensive about this character.  The comics, like Hollywood and TV, are finally beginning to depict Muslim characters.  But mostly these depictions center around uber-oppressed women vs. raving dudes with beards.  Progress? 

BTW, I feel like Wolvie has been white guy comics writers&#039; vicarious &quot;doorway to ethnic chicks&quot; for 25 years, even when he&#039;s not actually sleeping with said chicks.  Kitty Pryde (teenage Jewish American Princess), Yukio (Japanese samurai babe), etc., etc.</description>
