Normally I wouldn't read a gangster story, but since I enjoyed the goblin books I had to check this out, and I'm glad I did. Although I'm embarrassed that I didn't catch on to Robin sooner...

I always thought A Midsummer Night's Dream left a lot of unanswered questions. Excellent story, Jim. Just read "Ours to Fight For" in Realms of Fantasy, too, so it's a double pleasure.

Nice mixture of gang-culture and layered story telling. There were enough hints to suggest that there was soemthing decidely unusual about Robin, but the explanation of ancient links to faerie royalty didn't seem quite plausible to me because there are no earlier hints to this connection, the information hits like a sudden bomb instead of a titilating drip feed. Otherwise a very enjoyable read.
