It felt more like an X-Men film rather than a Wolverine. It was too showy and bright and the cast was still too large.
Logan is a loner, who is unbeatable and has a edge on his shoulder. It should have been more of an R rated film, with dark elements and darker scenes.

Oh god - there was that awful deus ex machina moment when Professor Xavier shows up too - that was so idiotic and random!

And all the male characters of color die!

And and and! The dialogue! So terrible!

I didn't have high expectations for this film so have avoided it. How stupid that Deadpool 'dies' off-screen.

Gambit's appearance was brief and oddly completely unnecessary. I kind of wish they'd found a more compelling reason to include him. As it was, his brief appearance included all the things you'd expect to see if Gambit is around:

1. he's involved in a high-stakes poker game

2. the kinetic energy animation on the cards was almost exactly the same as on the 80's cartoon

3. then he whips out the staff

The accent needed a lot of work and, truly, he needed a lot more to do. But they got those important things in early.

Sexy Hugh Jackman is sexy. But I was disappointed to hear that brief Gambit appearance is brief, after they made us wait for the fourth movie to see him. I'll probably be waiting for the DVD on this one.

Hmm. Hugh Jackman is *very* hot. Though I hate the wolvie hair style. Still, I went to see all 3 Xmen movies just for him. Hmm. Naked Hugh Jackman. Hmm. Ok, maybe.

The X-Men: The Last Stand was so bloody AWFUL that there's no way in hell I'll bother with this one, even on dvd.

Other than for complete fanfolks, every review has sunk the Origins entry to the bottom of the sea because of incoherence and dumbness. Also boring-ness (not a word, I know!).

Though it is comprehensible that if hotness is the criteria, the only criteria, the only expectation, that it could be worth the time.
