I have not read a fantasy book since the Harry Potter Series. I loved the Magicians and can’t wait for the sequel.I fell for this totally and saw no deconstruction at all. Its been two days since I finished the book and still have a feeling of angst over the the death of Alice (this could be my problem I know). Hell of a book!

I’m extremely glad he’s at least planning on writing a sequel… and look forward to it with abandon. If only I had discovered this book with the sequel already out… such is life.
