Fantasy at its best. I loved the details of this world, they pulled me right in and felt real. I feel bad for a world that has Daha's son as a god king though, seemingly raised without love or real sense of self to be a cold, narrowly focused religious being. It's like an emo Fundamentalist Necromancer version of the Dalai Lama or something. Beautiful, well crafted story. Fantasy at its best.
