From Modern Mythcraft to Magical Surrealism

i find my body and my body

i find my body and my body

in the banyan tree i find my body

the tree finds its body in me

you tore me out of my body and

my body spat out stop i knew i must

find me so in branch i lift my body

in wind drift in heat haze i find my body

if you’ve heard this you know

i find my body and my body

and i’ll be one before you keep my body

in the sea i find my body in the crash

on the rocks so don’t stop me if i splinter

my pieces drift i find my body

in the midges i swarm i hum

you’ve heard this one before

stop me if in you i find you’ve heard

your cells and your tendons

and i make this one my body before

in lymph and node i find my stop

i find my body and my body and i tear

you out of my body and my body spits out

stop me if you’ve heard this one before
